Hanging Personalised Flag Bunting
At Katie J Design and Events, we have over 300 Party Themes for all Occasions, including Birthdays, Baby Showers, Hens Parties, Anniversaries, and Holiday Parties. When you choose a theme, you’ll find several different supplies and decorations you can purchase separately or in discounted Party Packs.
Our Party Packs always include Personalised Flag Bunting, which you can also purchase on its own.
Our flag bunting is printed on polypropylene flags and can be Personalised with the celebrant’s name or age depending on the theme. Each Package contains 12 Personalised Bunting Flags, measuring 19cm in height and 14cm in width making them Great for Hanging on Cake and Party Tables.
If you’ve purchased our Flag Bunting in the past, you’ll remember that the flags came hot glued to ribbon. We’ve now updated our process to give you more Flexibility! Each flag has two punched holes and a beautiful Satin Ribbon is included. You can hang your flags to fit the dimensions of your space!
Simply thread each flag through the ribbon in order. We recommend laying out the design so it looks just how you like. If it works best for your space and Personalisation, you could even cut the ribbon and make two smaller Flag Buntings to Display.
After you hang it, you can continue to adjust any spacing until it looks just Perfect for your Party!
Using Personalised Flag Bunting in Your Party Space
Flag Bunting is incredibly versatile. There are so many ways you can hang it and use it to Create an Amazing Party Space.
To hang our Personalised Flag Bunting, you can choose several methods to attach it to the surface of your choice. We’ve seen it attached to tablecloths, tables, door frames, walls, indoor and outdoor spaces!

You can use Clear tape, Two Sided Tape, Pushpins, Clothes pins, or Small Nails! Our Flag Bunting is waterproof, so you can attach it to outdoor spaces, too, but we recommend you reinforce it so it won’t blow away if it is windy.

Personalised Flag Bunting Ideas and Inspiration
Here are some ideas and inspiration for how you can incorporate Personalised Flag Bunting into your party space, including amazing customer images and themes from our collection.
Attach the bunting to the front of your central party table to complement any cake and treats on display. The bunting will be front and centre and pop against coloured tablecloths. Here’s an example of our Baby Shark themed bunting along the party table!
Hang the bunting from a door frame so the theme is on display as guests enter the room. This is a great way to be Creative with draping! This customer image features a Peppa Pig party theme and made such a great family photograph!
You can also hang the bunting along a wall where it’s perfect for photos of the special girl or boy (or woman or man) and guests. We love this Motocross themed party and Creative photo set up! It’s Amazing what you can do with some Balloons and Accessories.
I also Love the idea of attaching the bunting around the edges of a high chair for a first birthday celebration. In this customer photo, the bunting is on the wall behind the high chair but the effect is similar. These Cars 1st Birthday Party Photographs must have looked Incredible!
Hang the bunting above the cake table or present table, even from the ceiling for fun. The bunting in this customer photo looks great with the personalised banner, and if you look closely you’ll notice that we customised this bunting for a 4 person joint Cars birthday party!
Another great idea is to arrange flag bunting on a table around presents, treats, food, or other themed items. The Cake isn’t yet on display in this customer photo, but this is such a Creative setup for the Cake Table at this Outer Space themed birthday party.
Here are a few more fun ways you can incorporate Personalised Flag Bunting into your Party Space:
- Drape it across furniture or large themed accessories for amazing celebration photographs
- Hang it across the Front of your Baby's High Chair to Dress Up their Special Seat on their First Birthday. You could even cut the Satin Ribbon in half to create 2 x Bunting for Decorating your Party Space!
- Let your guests hold the bunting to pose for a group picture
