This Website ( is operated by Katie J Design and Events ABN 11 642 054 868 Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Katie J Design & Events Pty Ltd.

By Visiting this Site and/or Placing an Order, you enter into a Binding Contract and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Order Confirmation

Once you place an order with Katie J Design and Events, we will send you an 'Order Confirmation' email detailing the products that you have ordered and any customisation that you would like printed. Please check this email carefully for any errors. Once an Order has been Paid & Printed we will not be able to Cancel, Refund, or Accept a Return for the order.

Where a Refund is Accepted and/or processed, a 10% Cancellation & Processing Fee is charged. In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your order it will be Cancelled, and we will process a Full Refund for your Order. We will contact you via email in the unlikely event that this occurs.


The Payment Methods accepted at Checkout are PayPalAfterpayZipLaybuy, and Bank Deposit. Credit & Debit Card payments can be made by selecting PayPal at checkout. You do not need a Paypal Account to make payment with Credit Card. Just select 'Card Payment' below PayPal's 'Create Account' and 'Sign In' buttons.

If you select Bank Deposit at Checkout, we will send you our Bank Account details in your Order Confirmation email. You will then need to transfer full payment for your order. Please use your Order Number and Name as Reference. Bank Deposit payments must be received within 7 Business days or your Order will be Cancelled.


Prices shown on our website include GST and are Correct and Current at the time of Visiting this Site and/or Placing an Order. We reserve the right to adjust prices where necessary on the website in line with any Price increases we may have incurred or Errors displayed. Any Specials or Deals advertised are only available at the time of Visiting this Site and/or Placing an Order and may not be available on subsequent visits/orders.

If you require a Tax Invoice, please send us an email at and we will email you a copy within 24 hours, excluding weekends & holidays.


Product Descriptions

The Product Images shown on our website have been digitally recreated to provide you with a sample of what you will receive. Please read our Detailed Product Descriptions for more information about our Products including their Measurements and the Materials that we have used to create them. The Satin Ribbon used to Create our Bunting will be closely matched with the colours shown. Their shades can vary slightly between shipments from our supplier.

We pride ourselves on the vibrancy of our printing. This being said, all monitors and screens display colour differently and may not accurately represent how your order will print. Please keep this in mind when ordering as we are unable to accept returns for this reason.

Our Customer Photos section is a Great way to 'Preview' our products before purchasing.

Party Packs

When ordering our party packs, customisation is only for the details shown in its Sample Image. We are unable to print personal messages or custom text for these items. This ensures that your Decorations print Perfectly and that all of the text on your decorations prints legibly and as shown on our website.

Please enter the details for printing in the customisation fields when adding our party packs to your cart. A Note can also be added to your Order at checkout if needed.

To customise your party products further, order them individually using our simple online editor. This will help you to create a truly unique item and preview your creation before ordering and printing.

Online Editor

Customising your products has never been so easy with our online editor. When ordering individual products, you now have the ability to enter your own unique customisation, choose from any font and colour options that may be available in that design, and best of all - Preview your product before purchasing.

Please check your preview image closely before adding the item to your cart, as changes cannot be made once your order has been placed. If an Error has been made on our behalf, we will Organise to have your Order replaced as a Priority. A Photo is usually requested to support a Claim. We cannot accept returns or process refunds due to errors (type-o's) entered in the Customisation fields and where a preview image was approved in our online editor.

Photo Products

When uploading a photo in our online editor, ensure that it is of high resolution and suitable for the product that you are creating. Be mindful if you are viewing an image using a phone or small device that the image may become pixelated when enlarged to size for printing. Our print quality is industry leading and follows the recommended print standard of 300dpi.

We take no responsibility for images that are uploaded using the Photo Upload tool. Please ensure that you have permission to use an image before it is uploaded. This includes both the Personal Rights of any Identifiable Individuals that are pictured and the use of Copyright & Intellectual property. By Using the Upload tool, you are verifying that you have permission to use any images uploaded and are responsible for any legalities that may arise from doing so.

We have the right to refuse printing of abusive, pornographic, obscene, defamatory, slanderous, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate images. Your Order will not be accepted and will be Cancelled and Refunded if your image is deemed inappropriate.

Custom Party Apparel

Our Custom Party T-Shirts and Apparel are printed by our third party partner. Once your order is placed, it will be sent straight through to the team to custom print your unique creation. For this reason, no cancellations or edits can be made to orders for custom apparel. Please check the preview image in our online editor carefully when placing your order.

Your custom party shirt/s will be shipped directly from our t-shirt manufacturer to your order's shipping address. Please note that there are varied processing and production times for different apparel. Please check the shipping estimates displayed on the individual product's shipping calculator to find out when your order is likely to arrive. Most items arrive within 5 - 15 business days, excluding weekends.


Processing Times

Please allow 4 Business days for your Order to be Print & Cut before Shipping. All of Our products are professionally printed and handmade once an order is placed. Business days are Monday to Friday. We are Closed on Weekends, Public Holidays and over Christmas Break. Please see our Shipping Page to find out the Estimated Arrival of your Order.

Orders are Shipped with Express Post via Australia Post at a Flat rate of $5. Express Post usually arrives within 1-5 business days of Shipping, depending on your location.

Tracking Your Shipment

All Orders are supplied with Tracking numbers once Shipped. Please Login to your Account or check your Shipping Confirmation Email for your Tracking number.

Shipping times shown on the website are an Estimate Only. Please check the Australia Post Website for up to date information including any postage delays that may affect the delivery of your order. Please contact Australia Post Immediately if your Parcel has not arrived as per the Tracking information supplied.

Lost or Damaged Parcels

Please contact Australia Post Immediately if your Parcel has not arrived as per the Tracking information supplied. If an Investigation is raised by Australia Post please send us an email with your Case Number. We will not cover the loss of Parcels through Australia Post, but you may be entitled to a refund from Australia Post in the unlikely event an order goes missing.

We also do not cover the loss of a parcel where the customer has input the wrong address; it has been deemed safe by Australia Post to be left on premises or if it has been signed for by unknown parties. This includes if an order is Returned to Sender 'Address Unknown'. Any additional shipping costs incurred will be at the expense of the buyer.


Every Effort is Made to Ensure that your Order Arrives to you On Time and in Perfect Condition. If your Parcel is Damaged in Transit please take your order including all packaging into your nearest Australia Post and Complete a PM26 Form. Most Australia Post Shipping Services include Insurance of up to $100 compensation for loss or damage.

Returns & Refunds

Printing Errors

All of Our products are professionally printed and handmade once an order is placed.

We try out best to ensure that all Orders are Double (and triple!) checked prior to shipping. We are only human though and on occasion mistakes do happen for which we take full responsibility. We do recommend checking all orders upon arrival for this reason.

If an Error has been made on our behalf, we will Organise to have your Order replaced as a Priority. A Photo is usually requested to support a Claim.


Change of Mind

We do not Accept Returns or Exchanges Due to Change of Mind or Party Theme; or in the event that your celebration is cancelled; or if your order does not arrive in time for your celebration.

As our Products are Custom made, we are unable to Accept an Item for Return as they cannot be re-sold.

Refunds will be deposited back to your selected payment source. This is the Payment method that was used at the time of Purchase.

Refunds will be processed within 24 hours after an agreement to Refund has been decided. It may take longer for payment to reach your payment source.

Where a Refund is Accepted and/or processed, a 10% Cancellation & Processing Fee is charged. All Requests for Returns or Exchange must be done so within 7 Business days of your Order being Delivered.
