1. Ordering
Once you place an order with Katie J Design and Events, you will receive an order confirmation email outlining the products ordered and any customisation details supplied at the time of purchase.
Please review your order confirmation carefully. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all order details, including spelling, colours, quantities, uploaded images and customisation information, are correct before completing checkout.
Once an order has been placed and production has commenced, it cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded except where required by Australian Consumer Law or where an error has been made on our behalf.
2. Pricing and Payment
All prices listed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
We reserve the right to update prices, product descriptions, shipping charges and promotions at any time without notice. Pricing and offers displayed at the time of purchase apply only to that order.
Payment must be received in full before an order is processed unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept payment methods made available at checkout, including secure online payment providers and other options displayed on our website.

3. Product Descriptions and Colours
We make every effort to present our products, colours and finishes as accurately as possible. However, product images shown on our website are digital representations and may vary slightly from the final printed item.
Colours may appear differently depending on screen settings, monitor calibration and device type. Minor variations between what appears on screen and the final printed product are normal and are not considered faults.
Please refer to individual product listings for details about measurements, materials and inclusions.
4. Customisation and Online Editor
Many of our products are customised using customer-supplied text, images and design selections. Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all customisation details and preview images before completing their order.
We are not responsible for errors entered or approved by the customer, including spelling mistakes, incorrect dates, colour choices, image placement, low-resolution uploads or other incorrect customisation details entered through the online editor or provided during checkout.
Where a preview is shown, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the preview accurately reflects the product they wish to receive.
Party pack products and grouped product bundles may only include the customisation options described in the product listing. If a product is not individually editable, custom changes outside the stated options may not be available.
5. Photo Uploads and Image Quality
If you upload a photo or design file, you are responsible for ensuring it is suitable for print. This includes image clarity, resolution, cropping and overall quality.
Images viewed on a phone or small screen may appear acceptable but can become pixelated or unclear when enlarged for printing. We recommend using the highest quality image available.
We are not responsible for poor print results caused by low-resolution, blurry, poorly cropped or otherwise unsuitable uploaded images provided by the customer.
6. Image Upload Disclaimer and Copyright
By uploading any image, artwork, logo, design or other content to our website, you confirm that you have the legal right and permission to use, reproduce and print that content.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Personal photos, where appropriate consent has been obtained from any identifiable individuals
- Copyrighted material, where permission has been obtained from the copyright owner
- Trademarked logos, symbols or branded content, where appropriate authorisation has been obtained
We do not verify ownership or rights for uploaded content and accept no responsibility for unlawful, unauthorised or infringing material submitted by customers.
By submitting content, you agree to indemnify and hold Katie J Design and Events harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages or legal costs arising from your use of uploaded material.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or refund any order that includes content we consider to be inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, unlawful, or in breach of copyright, trademark or privacy rights.
Where an order is cancelled due to suspected copyright, trademark or image rights concerns, a cancellation and processing fee may be applied to cover administrative time and costs where permitted.
7. Custom Apparel
Custom apparel products may be produced and shipped by a third-party production partner. Once an order for custom apparel has been placed, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
Production and delivery timeframes for apparel may differ from printed paper or vinyl products. Customers should review the shipping estimates provided on the relevant product page before ordering.
8. Processing Times and Shipping
Production timeframes vary by product and order type. Estimated turnaround times shown on product pages, shipping pages or at checkout are guides only and may vary during peak periods, public holidays or due to supply chain or courier delays.
Orders are generally dispatched using Australia Post Express where stated on our website. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are outside our direct control once the parcel has been lodged with the carrier.
International orders may be subject to customs processing, delays, taxes, duties or import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
9. Tracking, Lost or Damaged Parcels
Tracking details are supplied once your order has been shipped. It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor tracking and contact the postal carrier promptly if an issue arises in transit.
We are not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or other shipping carriers, including delays due to weather events, public holidays, customs clearance or other circumstances outside our control.
If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, customers should contact both the carrier and us as soon as possible so we can assist where appropriate.
We are not responsible for parcels that are delayed, lost, stolen or misdelivered due to incorrect shipping information supplied by the customer.
10. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
As most of our products are custom made or personalised to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect selections made by the customer
- Errors approved by the customer in the preview or checkout process
- Delays caused by shipping carriers once dispatched
- Variation in colour due to screen or monitor differences
If a customer requests a cancellation after an order has been placed, a
10% cancellation and processing fee will apply. This fee covers non-refundable transaction costs charged by payment providers at the time of purchase.
This 10% fee also applies where an order cannot be fulfilled due to issues outside our control, including but not limited to:
- Submission of copyrighted, trademarked or restricted images without appropriate permission
- Inappropriate or non-compliant content
- Incomplete or unusable customer-provided files
If an order is cancelled prior to production, the remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method after the processing fee has been deducted.
If an error has been made on our behalf, we will take full responsibility and offer a replacement, store credit or full refund where appropriate.
No cancellation or processing fees will apply where the fault is ours.
Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
If a product has a major failure or does not meet guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a remedy.
12. Website Content and Availability
We reserve the right to update, modify or remove website content, product listings, images, prices and availability at any time without notice.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
