I’m back with another Fun, Time-Conscious No-Bake Cake Hack! These are some of my favourite party tips to share, because they’re always Easy, Delicious and Perfect when you’re busy preparing for an Event.
My Kids have recently started to enjoy Cooking, so we’ve been involving them more in the Kitchen. It’s been lovely spending time together over the School Holidays, getting Creative and a little Messy! These quick treats are ideal when you want something Yummy that doesn’t cost a fortune or take hours to prepare.
This week we made some Aussie themed treats in the lead up to Australia Day next weekend. These were a hit at our Party and they’re perfect for Celebrating anywhere across Australia, whether you’re hosting at home, in the backyard, at the beach or at the park.
Making Mini Pavs for Australia Day
These Australia Day Mini Pavs were Super Quick and Simple to make. You only need a few ingredients from Coles or Woolies, plus a mixing bowl and a few basics from your kitchen. All up, they took around 10 minutes to put together!
What You’ll Need

We had planned to make a full Pavlova, but Coles substituted our base with Mini Pavs instead. They turned out even cuter than expected! The Kids could each decorate their own, which meant less arguing and more fun.

Ingredients & Step-by-Step Guide
Here’s everything we used to make our Mini Pavs:
- Milo
- Mini Pavlovas
- Candies and chocolates for decorating
(Freddos, Caramello Koalas, Jaffas, Tim Tam Bites, Lamington Bites and Fantales) - Mixing bowl and mixer
- Spatula, knife or piping bag
- Plate or platter for serving

How to Make Them
- Whip cream by mixing a few tablespoons of Milo with cream in a bowl.
- Spoon, spread or pipe the cream onto the Mini Pavs.
- Decorate with chocolate, lollies and whatever makes you happy!

Here’s a look at the Kids getting creative. We cut some of the chocolates smaller to fit, and we left the Fantales wrapped for decoration on the platter. So easy, and so delicious!

If you want something quick, yummy and a little bit festive, these are ideal. They were Perfect for our Australia Day Party here in Brisbane, Queensland. No fuss, no baking, just fun!
