Awesome Girls Super Hero Birthday Party Ideas & Photos

Isla’s Superheroes Themed 5th Birthday Party

For my Daughter, Isla’s 5th Birthday Party she chose a Girls Super Hero Party Theme and I couldn’t wait to create it for her! I set out a Party Plan which specified the Colours & Characters that I would be using and got Creating. We all picked Our Favourite Super Hero Character and Order Costumes Online. The Birthday Girl chose Spider Girl, Mr 8 chose Hulk, my Partner rocked his Batman Pyjama Shirt and I was just thankful my Wonder Woman Shirt still fit come the Party as I was 4.5mths Pregnant with Baby Paige and had just started to show.

Super Hero Costumes

The Next Task was to create Cheap but Super Costumes for all of her Friends that would be attending. Keeping it Simple, I made Felt Super Hero Masks and Super Hero Wands for them to wear – they were so Easy to Make & looked Great on the Day. What was even better was that we could add them to Our Dress Up Box after the Party for when her Friends come to visit.

Girls Super Hero Party Games

I have been creating Birthday Parties for my Kids for many years now and they have some Favourite Party Games that they request every year. I try to incorporate all of the Party Games in with their Theme too.

Girls Super Hero Pass the Parcel

Pass the Parcel is a Classic Kids Party Game for any age. I usually buy a Special Surprise for the Centre like an Activity Book & Crayons or a Small Toy. I then wrap it in layers of Wrapping Paper to match my Party Theme and include Bags of Wrapped Chocolates like Smarties or Mars Bars in the consecutive layers of Wrapping Paper. To Complete the Parcel I add a matching Sticker, for this Pass the Parcel I added a Super Logo on top of the Purple Wrapping Paper.

Stick the Super Logo on Super Girl

Adapted from the Classic Kids Party Game ‘Pin the Tail on the Donkey’, we played ‘Stick the Logo on Super Girl’. Just like the Original Game the Party Guests were Blind folded, turned in a Circle 3 times and guided towards the Super Girl Poster where they could place their Logo. The Child with their Super Logo closest to Super Girl’s was the Winner. I have created FREE Templates & Instructions if you would like to make this Game at Home – Click Here.

Girls Super Hero Pinata

The All Time Favourite Party Game that my kids always request for their Parties is a Pinata! I have made some Amazing Pinatas over the years but as life has got busier I have also learnt to adapt them so that I can make them faster and with less effort. This one was made using just a Cardboard Box, Packing Tape & Satin Ribbon. I promise it is so easy to make yourself at home and the Kids will have so much Fun trying to get those lollies out. On the Day it took about 40 mins and 20 kids of varying ages to crack it open and they had so much fun doing so! Check out the Tutorial that I Created – Click Here.

Birthday Cake & Party Food

The Party Food at Isla’s Birthday Party was Easy, Affordable and Looked Great on the Day. On the Party Tables when the Little Super Heroes arrived were Plastic Cups filled with Popcorn and Decorated with Super Girls Cup Stickers from Katie J Design & Events. The Cake Table featured Vanilla Cupcakes with Super Girls Cupcake Toppers also from Katie J Design & Events and a Birthday Cake which I made myself the Night Before.

Isla’s Birthday Cake was Super Easy to Make with 3 Plain Sponges which I brought from the Supermarket. Using Wilton Concentrate Icing Colour I coloured Betty Crocker Frosting for the Cake. Only a small amount of the Icing Colour is needed to colour the Frosting as it produces such Vibrant & Beautiful Colours. Each Sponge is then layered on top of the Other with the Frosting Spread in between the Sponge Layers. Once this is done, cover the Cake in Frosting. I added some Small Round Fondant Balls to the Base of the Cake to hide any Frosting that had smudged onto the cake Plate. Last but not least, Decorate your Cake with Candles and Cake Toppers. And there you have it a Fabulous & Easy Girls Super Hero Cake!

Isla’s Girls Super Hero Party

What an Amazing Day it was for the Birthday Girl. Isla had so much Fun with her Super Friends Dressing Up, Playing Games and Eating Cake and is already planning her Next Birthday Party – the Big 6! I hope I have given you some Ideas & Inspiration if you too are planning a Girls Super Hero Party. Feel Free to Post a Comment if you have Any Questions or Contact Me on the link below.

At Isla’s party we used a lot of Girls Super Hero Party Decorations from my Range. There was Pennant (Flag) Banners, A3 & A4 Party Poster Prints, a Party Wall Display, Invites (Pictured Above), Cupcake Toppers, Party Bags and Water Bottle Labels, but they were getting cold in an Esky on the day. My Favourite Piece in this Party Theme would have to be the Party Wall Display. It makes a Fabulous & Personalised Feature Piece at the Cake Table and is Great Photo Backdrop at Parties.

Girls Super Hero Party Decorations

Making Decorations is what I do best! I created a Girls Super Heroes Party Theme which has since been added to my Store, Katie J Design & Events. It included all of my Daughters Favourite Girl Super Hero Characters – Spider Girl, Bat Girl, Wonder Woman and Super Girl, all Styled in her Favourite Colours – Pink, Purple & Aqua. The Best Part is that they are all Personalised with her Name & Age!

Since Isla's Party this Design has been updated with more Fabulous Super Girls Characters. This is the New Design.

And if the Little Superheroes aren't your style we have an Awesome Girls DC Superheroes party theme. Check it out Here.
