An Easy Party Food that I make at my Kids Birthday Parties is Chocolate Spoons. They are Quick, Delicious, Convenient, Adaptable, and they are a hit with the Kids - Big & Little!

Even if you like Creating Over-the-Top Party Food, give these Chocolate Spoons a try. They’re the Perfect Party Treat to put together in No Time for one more Fun Surprise for the guests. And even though they’re Simple, they can Look Fancy!

Easy to Make

I can barely even call Chocolate Spoons a recipe! You only need some Plastic Spoons, Nutella, and tiny Edible Decorations of your Choice. They are so easy, that even the kids can help out.

Here is a photo of my daughter, Isla, making Chocolate Spoons for her little sister, Paige's 5th Fairy themed Birthday Party. These Fairy themed birthday party treats were made with melted white chocolate and fairy coloured sprinkles.

Simply assemble the treats by spooning teaspoons of Nutella onto your plastic spoons - try for a cute little Swirl if you want - and add decorations. We love the idea of adding little Candies, Marshmallows, Sprinkles, and Chocolate Chips.

The Chocolate Spoons pictured above and below were for my Daughter's Pink & Blue Trolls Themed Party. They looked Beautiful Garnished with Small Pink Sugar Flowers.

Delicious

It’s hard to go wrong with a Spoonful of Hazelnut Chocolate Goodness! Toddlers and Kids love these Chocolate Spoons, but so do adults. It’s a fantastic way to tap into the Childhood temptation to dig into a jar of Nutella with a Spoon.

Check out these Beautiful Chocolate Spoons from Isla's Minnie Mouse themed 2nd Birthday Party. We added a spoon of White Chocolate to the tops of these Spoons once the Nutella layer had set. It really contrasted with the sugar flowers and decorations.

Any Tiny Edible Accent you Add is an Extra Tasty Treat, too. Yum!

Convenient

One of our Favorite things about these Chocolate Spoons is that they are super Convenient. The Guests get Chocolate, but without the Mess of gooey fingers or sanitary concerns of lots of little hands reaching into one container.

And let’s face it - it’s hard to keep Little Kids in one place. But these are literally Grab and Go, even for our Littlest Party Guests. The Chocolate Spoons below were a hit with the kids at Isla's Dora the Explorer themed 3rd Birthday Party.

Adaptable

Chocolate Spoons are simple to adapt to any Party Theme, so these are a Treat you can go to Again and Again for any Occasion.

As an example, this Next Photo was from my Son's Minions themed Birthday Party a couple of years ago. You can see the Chocolate Spoons on the left. They were Decorated with Blue and Yellow M&M's.

I like to use Coloured Plastic Spoons and Edible Accents that match the Party Theme, but even this can be Super Easy! You can Match any Theme with White Spoons and Coloured Chocolates.

We used Green & Yellow M & M's this time for Donte's Cricket Themed Birthday Party. It was cheap, easy and helped combine the party theme colours across the cake table.

The options for these Chocolate Spoons are only as limited as Your Imagination, so you can really Go Wild with Fancy and Fun Ideas, and even involve your Party Girl or Boy in picking the Colours or putting the Decorations on Top.

How Beautiful are these Chocolate Spoons from Paige's Magical Unicorn themed Birthday Party. They were simple to prepare the night before the big celebration.
