Our Family Valentines Day

Every Occasion is a reason to celebrate in our house and Valentines Day 2017 was no different. It was packed with Love, Smiles and Laughter.

Valentines Day Boxes

The weekend before Valentines Day I made Valentines Day Boxes for the Family. We all sat down and decorated our boxes together. The Kids love to decorate their own boxes. It becomes slightly competitive between all of us comparing who made the best box, but all in good fun.

Valentines Day Cards

The Next Project for Valentines Day was to make Cards for each other. I love to collect all of the Cards that I receive off the Kids each year, some of their messages can be so sweet. I am sure they will make a Lovely Keepsake in years to come.

When writing my own Cards for the Kids, I like to make them something Funny that they will enjoy. They often take their cards to school to show their Friends & Teachers. I found some very clever stuff to write in their cards over at Card Messages – great when I needed inspiration.

Even Baby Paige made Valentines Cards for Everyone. She had so much fun stamping her feet in the Red Paint to create Love Hearts for the front of her cards.

Posting Our Valentines Cards

Once our Cards were complete we got to post our cards in each other’s boxes. Ensuring that no-one peeked before the Big Day!

Valentines Day Morning

The Morning of Valentines Day everyone awoke and the ‘Valentines Fairy’ as the kids say had been. She had left the bigger kids a Balloon each; Baby Paige a Valentines Puppy, Mummy got a Bunch of Roses and Daddy got a Lotto Ticket. We all had a Fabulous morning reading our cards, the kids ran around with their Balloons and Baby Paige thought her Puppy was a Great Chew Toy.
