Easy to Make DIY Super Hero Wands for Kids Parties
For my daughter Isla's fifth birthday, I put together some Super Hero Wands as part of the festivities. Even today, she still takes them out of the dress-up box and play-acts with them, running after her brother as if she has magical abilities. It's amazing to watch her imagination in action at such a young age!
The Super Hero Wands I put together were a Breeze to Assemble, Very Affordable and even more Sturdy than I expected. I have provided Step-by-Step Directions and a Template below that can be Printed from Home. I hope you find them Useful.

Necessary Supplies
You'll need to gather certain items before beginning the project.
- Thin A4 Cardboard Sheets
- A Long Wooden Skewer (the Type used for making Kebabs)
- Hot Glue Gun
- Scissors that are Sharp
- Super Hero Wand Template
Creating a DIY wand as a favour for a girl's superhero party can be easily accomplished with the following materials: an image of the superhero, coloured cardstock, glue, sequins, and ribbon. Cut out the superhero image and glue it to the cardstock. Then, cover the cardstock with sequins and ribbon to give it a finished look.
Step 1. Print Your Templates
Thin A4 cardstock should be used to print off the Super Hero Wand Template. Make as many copies as necessary.
Step 2. Trim Your Templates
Using Scissors, one must trim the Wand Templates. Although this can be quite laborious, it is the most difficult element of the Project.

Step 3. Glue Your Super Hero Wands
To prevent a mess from occurring, it is important to place the Wand Templates on a protective surface or cutting board and have them facing down. Attaching the Wooden Skewer to the Back of the Template can be done with a Hot Glue Gun or Super Glue. Be sure to glue the pointy end of the skewer to the back of the template to ensure that little ones are not able to hurt themselves.
